Dear Junior School Parents,
We made it! Thank you all for your continued engagement and support throughout the term. We hope that the next two weeks provide an opportunity for some rest and time with family and friends. Yesterday, you received a communication from Dr. Samson in regards our return to school after the break. Please expect another update prior to March 28th.
Wishing you all the best.

Morning Gator Care Suspended Week of March 28

Book Drive in Support of the Children’s Book Bank:March 28th – April 7th
- As part of their leadership work, our 6C class is seeking your support for the Children’s Book Bank.
- The Children’s Book Bank is dedicated to providing books for children that do not have them available to them. It has grown and expanded since its founding in 2008, and as a result, it has reached more than 75,000 children in need. Having started as a small organization , it now is partnered and funded by various organizations. Books can provide children with education and books help children expand their imagination. Without books, many children will not be able to learn and think as well. The Children’s Book Bank recognizes the importance of education and imagination, both of which can be gained through reading books.
- Over the break, please look through your book shelves with your children to see which books that they no longer wish to keep.
- Donations can be placed in the boxes outside our Learning Hub (Library).
- The boxes will be available from March 28th to April 7th.
We thank you in advance for your effort in contributing to this cause.
Request for Donations – DSLR Cameras
- Mr. Reiter, the Junior School’s STEM coordinator, is collecting resources to begin a photography club. If you have an old DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera that you no longer use, please consider donating to the Junior School for use in this new activity. Please only donate DSLR cameras, which have the capability to shoot in manual, aperture and shutter-priority modes. Other equipment such as lenses, filters, chargers, storage cards and tripods are also welcome.
- Here an image of a variety of DSLR cameras. Please note that the club will not be utilizing point and shoot cameras.
