What a fun-filled and SPIRITED week we have had indeed! Students, faculty and staff have had so much fun celebrating their houses, and the Havergal community. A huge shout out to our Junior School Hockey Team for playing so well and for winning their game against BSS on Hockey Day!  Finally, thank you to Ms. Watt, the Junior School Prefects, and all of the faculty and staff Spirit Day Committee for making the week such a success. Valentine’s Day – Red, White and Pink Grub Day

Valentine‘s Day is just around the corner.  Should your daughter choose to bring in cards, we ask that there are enough for every member of the class. Please do not bring in any outside food items, gifts or loot bags for the girls. We understand that some Valentine’s Day cards come with a sticker, tattoo or other such item attached, which is acceptable.
The girls are also invited to wear grub on Thursday, February 14.

Hold the Date- April 9th for Parent Math Class

Primary Math Class:  Come and learn how to do Primary Math on April 9 from 9 am – 11:30 am.  Registration details are coming.
Junior Math Class:  Come and learn how to do Junior Math on April 9 from 1pm-3:30 pm.  Registration details are coming

Beyond the Ivy Walls

Our Havergal Junior School students pursue a vast array of activities beyond our walls. Their dedication and accomplishments are impressive, and we want to give students the opportunity to share their efforts with our community. Highlighting and celebrating our girls’ learning beyond our ivy walls not only allows us to get to know each other in different ways, but it also serves as inspiration for others. Accomplishments in any field are welcome: athletics, arts, academics, philanthropy, hobbies and more. Endeavours that represent the Havergal values of integrity, inquiry, compassion and/or courage are also encouraged.

We are so proud of our U12 Girls Hockey Team who played BSS during the intermission of Hockey Day. Jane White & Kasia Novic were the Gr. 6 leaders on the team who both blasted up from the defense each scoring a beautiful goal. Well done Gators!
